Hello, my name is Angela. My daughter Lucia and son Francesco are both at St. Catherine's.
I joined the Friends 4 years ago when Lucia started in Hedgehogs. It has been great fun and is so rewarding to feel that I am 'doing my bit'.

Hello, my daughter Mary started in Hedgehogs last year and she has 2 brothers. Edward has started this September and Harry will hopefully follow next year. The Friends of St Catherine’s is a great group and having enjoyed some of the events that they have organised I wanted to do my bit to help out. As I am the only man able to attend the meetings at the moment, I would like to call on all of you dads out there to come and join me. They aren’t that scary! No really, they’re not.

Hi, I am Debbie Wear. My son Jacob is currently in Owls class at St Catherine's. I have been a member of the Friends of St Catherine's committee for two years, and because of my finance background I was happy to take on the role of Treasurer. For just a few hours of our time, the committe achieves a great deal, Our aim is to raise funds for the school and bring parents, children and teachers together for enjoyable events. The committee works together as a team to achieve some fantastic things, and has fun along the way. New members are always welcome!
Angie Payne Vice Treasurer - Angie Payne
Hi my name is Angie.
I am the Vice Treasurer for 'The Friends of St Catherine's'.
I have been a Committee member for 7 years and joined when my eldest child was in reception.
I have 3 children, 2 of which are currently at St Catherine's and although I do not have a great deal of time to spare, I try when I am able to help as much as I can.

I have two children at St.Catherines in Year 2 and Year 5. I joined 'The Friends' four years ago after having helped out at a few events. We've had great fun as a team organising various fund raising projects. The effort is rewarded seeing the children and their families enjoying themselves, as well as knowing that the money we raise is creating a better school environment for our children. We are a very small group and are always looking for new members, ideas or just helpers at our events. We all have busy lives and jobs but 'FOSC' is really worth making time for.
Domenico GugliottaDomenico Gugliotta
My name is Domenic. I have 2 children at St Catherine's, Lucia and Francesco. I became a member of the Friends 2 years ago and have enjoyed being able to get involved in raising funds for the school. You will usually see me with my camera, taking photos at the events to put on the school website. I have also been able to apply for charity grants from my employer which have boosted the funds raised by the Friends.

Having had three children educated at St Catherines I have been very pleased to be an integral part of fundraising for many of the projects you will see on the website. I think keeping the fun in fundraising is a vital ingredient to the successful work of The Friends.
I think we should all remember that St Catherines is the special little gem of Stratton - it being Stratton's only primary school - you have made a fantastic choice for your child's education.
Kim NelsonKim Nelson
My name is Kim Nelson and my son Jamie is in Pandas. I have been a member of the Friends for 4 years. At functions you will normally see me behind the bar with my husband Ian, my role is stock control and Ian is Bar Manager. I am proud to be a member of the Friends because I think the work we do is so valuable to the children of St Catherines - providing them with the 'extras' - to make school more enjoyable for them. I would really like to see more new faces at the meetings as more people create more ideas for our next functions.
So come along we're a friendly bunch and would love to see you there.
Ian Nelson
Hello my name is Ian Nelson, my son Jamie is in Panda Bears. I am kept pretty busy with my job working as a Property Manager, and I am also manager of my sons football team - Greenmeadow U10. However, I still find time to support The Friends of St Catherine's. My role is Bar Manager - I make sure that there are plenty of drinks at the functions and they are kept nice and cold! You will find me behind the bar with my wife Kim; you could call us the 'Den and Angie' of St Catherine's School!!
Lucy SkittrallLucy Skittrall
Hello, my name is Lucy. I have two sons at St. Catherine's and regularly come into school as a parent helper in the classroom and on outings.
I love being part of the school. It's great to be involved and feel as though I make a positive contribution to the school community, making a difference and improving things for all our children.
